How we help our partnered charities
We partner with esteemed and well-known charities across the UK to offer an innovative avenue for fundraising.
Our mission is to provide vital financial support for these charities' crucial projects. We act as a lifeline for organisations that lack an established network of charity shops or struggle with an overwhelming influx of donations to their existing shops.
Our service to these charities is truly priceless. We seamlessly collect and manage the sale of their clothes donations, offering a convenient and stress-free way to generate additional funds for our valued charity partners.
This enables households throughout the UK to contribute to these causes, providing an opportunity for meaningful clothes donations that make a difference.
Recycling clothes has a positive impact on the environment
Clothing waste plays a substantial role in filling up landfills. However, through clothes recycling, we redirect textiles away from these landfills, effectively mitigating the emission of hazardous chemicals and greenhouse gases that arise during decomposition.
Moreover, clothes recycling actively curbs the demand for fresh raw materials, including materials like cotton, polyester, and other textiles. This practice serves as a means to conserve vital resources like water and energy, essential for the creation of new garments.
In addition, recycling clothes stands out for its energy efficiency when compared to the production of entirely new clothing items. Particularly, the manufacture of textiles, especially synthetic fibres like polyester, is known for its high energy consumption.
By recycling clothes, we contribute to a reduction in overall energy usage, further promoting sustainable practices.
