The charity clothes collection service in Birmingham is free. By booking online it enables you to choose which one of our charity partners you would like to receive your clothes donations. It’s an efficient way to donate your clothes to the charity of your choice.
Once we receive your collection request, we will confirm the collection date, then all you need to do is bag up your donation in the clothes collection bag you have received through your door, or any other suitable container. Just leave it outside your property and we will collect it on the scheduled date.

Start your clothes recycling initiative with a bulk charity clothes collection! Our experienced drivers are all DBS checked and will collect these donations on a date convenient for you, often within 24 hours of your request.
200 free recycling tote bags
Students can fill these tote bags with unwanted clothes, toys, and other items. These donations can be placed in our collection units, which we'll later collect. This initiative can be a great way to raise funds for your school or a chosen charity.
Recycling units on the school premises
We have large and small recycling units, suitable for indoor or outdoor placements. We can provide a small recycling box in your school's reception area or consider a large clothes bank or metal recycling unit for your school's car park or another open area on your premises.
This makes it easy for students and staff to donate unwanted clothes. Our recycling units are equipped with tracking technology, allowing us to monitor their fill levels. When the unit reaches 70% capacity, one of our drivers will promptly empty it.

Your school can earn £400 per ton or 40p per KG for running this initiative. This could translate to a minimum of £1,200.00 per year (based on a ton per calendar quarter) in crucial funding for your school. Collection4Clothes is an ethical recycling business in the West Midlands and we provide a win-win clothes recycling solution that our team is immensely proud of. We do our bit to help the environment, build the funds of charities and recycle items to give them a new lease of life.
What happens to the clothes you donate?
100% of the donations we collect is shipped to least economically developed countries in parts of Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia where they are sold at local affordable prices to the communities in these countries.
Anything we have collected that is not deemed to be in re-useable condition, our buyers in these countries ethically recycle these items and the materials are used in local item production.
Monday to Friday 8AM - 3PM. The Collection4Clothes+ bag you have received will say the day your bag will be collected on the outer sleeve.
When you receive a bag through your post, our team are only in the Birmingham area on the day specified on the bag following its delivery. Please note, our collection teams do not collect in the Birmingham area every week. If you suspect you have a bag from a previous collection, please wait for a new bag to come through your post, which should be 2-3 weeks after your last collection.
Nationwide we accept all varieties of clothing that is in a donatable condition. This includes clothing accessories such as shoes, handbags, purses, and belts. Donations of non-clothing items will vary, depending where you live in the UK. The bag you receive in the post will specify every non-clothing variety of donations we collect in your area.
Non-clothing donations that we accept include:
Sports equipment, bath mats, kitchenware, jewellery, children’s toys and games, golf clubs, pots and pans, paintings, ornaments, trinkets, antiques, hand tools, cutlery, crockery, pet accessories, baby items, car seats, pushchairs, prams and other bric-a-brac.
